Income limit up to Rs Reservation is issued to the Adi Dravidar, the most backward in the central government's educational institutions. In this, the MBC is used for the most backward class students, the 'Creamy Layer', the income ceiling. If the parents' parents earn more than three years annually, they will come in the 'creamy' range and the reservation will not be given.
In this case, the demand for increase in the Creamy Layer income limit, due to economic growth, price rises and increase in personal income. Accordingly, six lakh rupees a year, eight lakh rupees a year, the income ceiling has been raised.
The Ministry of Human Resources Development has announced that students should be included in the reservation on the basis of this income range from the next academic year.
